Free Services for Age 0-3:

First Steps is a federal program that helps infants and toddlers under the age of 3. If you have a concern with your child, they will come over and make arrangement for your child to get checked out. They provide diagnosis, therapies of various kinds (occupational, physical, speech, developmental), counseling, etc. They come to your home to give your child therapies. There is no waiting list, and the services are free. Time is important for early interventions. So call early when you feel that your child is not developing appropriately (like not feeding well, not making eye contact, not talking, not meeting the developmental milestones, etc.).
